Anything at all. Your choice. What's the most Nebraska way to get around?

Why do I ask, you say? Because I'm tired of hearing that the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is the Ford F-Series. I'm more interested in what the best vehicle for the state should be.

Also, if you think the most Nebraska vehicle happens to be the F-Series, then by all means put it down.

And as always...

Choose wisely!

This is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , a 51-part series of Opposodes where I gather OppositeLock's view of America in the form of cars. Have at it.

I live in Nebraska, and I must say, the F series is everywhere. However, for relatively affluent-yet-subtle, and very urban Omaha, I think the Hyundai Equus.

Also, if anyone says tractor, I will run you over with my tractor.

(edit - I have no idea what the roads are really like. The only time I've been to Nebraska it was passing through...)

Being an ignorant former NYer, and current Midwesterner - I couldn't pick Nebraska out on a map if I tried. So let me Google some shit and see what the weather is like before I assume it snows.

So I just Googled "Does it snow in Nebraska?" and, sad to say - a ton of idiots like myself have Googled it, or asked on Yahoo answers. And I am shocked to see it is quite close to Missouri.

Kinja'd!!!

So my initial assumption-based recommendation is still valid - WRX. They are beasts in bad weather - and a lot of fun in the dry.

I vote for the Panther

Why?

Because it's Merican, RWD, easy to maintain, and has a low center of gravity.

I think a sedan with some weight and girth is better than a truck when there are a lot of storms. Wind wouldn't bother a heavy sedan like it would a truck.

The worst would be a short CUV or 911. Vehicles like that don't like crosswinds.

I'm from Kearney and had a '71 Celica Gt, '73 240z, '74 260z, and 1968 Ranchero up until I went into the Airforce. Out of those, the 240 was the most fun because you could just stick it on 120 out in the middle of nowhere. Ranchero was only good for 113. Celica was never topped out but it took 10.6 seconds to hit 60mph as I remember.
